God’s Word often just rocks me to my core. The more I read, the more I long to know. There are times the scriptures have been like a script between my Father and me – I asking questions and He lovingly teaching and answering through His precious, ancient words. There are times He has led me through the scripture to ask Him certain questions as I pray; questions I didn’t know to ask but He knew I desperately needed answers to.
Other times, I have to keep making my daily appointment with Him even when I don’t feel like it. Because that’s what we do in relationships…
We. keep. showing. up.
We push through times our feelings aren’t “in it.” And just like any relationship that involves at least one human, it bounces back again. He patiently waits for us to get realigned and back in step with Him so that He can continue to open us up to more of His wonders and mysteries.
